Sitra Adill Mohammed

Sitra Adill Mohammed is a fourth-year student at the University of Toronto, specializing in neuroscience with minors in physiology and psychology. Sitra joined the lab in May 2023 as a summer research student, where her primary focus has been exploring the experiences of Black and Middle Eastern clients at the CAMH Emergency Department. Throughout her time, Sitra has conducted literature reviews and presented on how environmental design impacts violence and aggression mitigation in psychiatric care. In addition, she has supported rapid reviews and full-text extractions for a suicide prevention tool, the Hope App. Currently, she is supporting recruitment efforts for stakeholder interviews to gain further qualitative experience.
