Shrika Vejandla

Shrika Vejandla (she/her/hers) is a health sciences student at Queen’s University. She is currently involved in the Predictive Care Lab as a summer student, working on a clustering analysis of electronic health record data to inform a clinical decision system prototype. Shrika has an interest in AI implementation and bias, previously contributing to a project with the lab examining the value of cognitive forcing for ethical AI implementation in acute psychiatric care. She also has previous experience investigating algorithmic biases in healthcare presented at the 2024 Canadian Undergraduate Conference on AI as part of QMIND, Queen’s University AI Hub. Shrika hopes to pursue graduate studies in the realm of neuroscience, mental health, and implementation science.
