Shrika Vejandla
Shrika Vejandla (she/her/hers) is an incoming second year health sciences student at Queen’s University. She is currently involved in the Predictive Care Lab as a 2024 T-CAIREM summer student, working on examining the value of cognitive forcing for ethical AI implementation in acute psychiatric care. Shrika has an interest in AI implementation and bias, previously contributing to a project investigating algorithmic biases in healthcare presented at the 2024 Canadian Undergraduate Conference on AI as part of QMIND, Queen’s University AI Hub. Shrika hopes to pursue graduate studies in the realm of neuroscience, mental health, and implementation science.
