Eloïse Jaumier

Eloïse Jaumier is a Research Trainee with the Predictive Care Lab and a PhD student in Sociocultural and Medical Anthropology at the University of Toronto.

Her research focuses on the intersection of health and labor, with a particular interest in experiences of burnout in Quebec. She explores the relationships between work, health, and ideals of productivity by examining both patients’ and clinicians’ perspectives.

Previously, she studied the impact of administrative procedures on clinical care practices for work-related injuries, developing expertise in how medical-administrative systems and documents shape care. Eloïse has contributed to a variety of community-led and academic projects on youth experiences, socio-professional integration, and social inequities in health. Her work bridges ethnographic research with practical contributions to healthcare, labor, and policy.
