Dominick Roussel

Dominick Roussel is a Research Trainee with the Predictive Care Lab at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where she is contributing to a project focused on autistic patients experience in the emergency department.

Prior to joining CAMH, Dominick completed her MSc in Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Toronto where she led a research project focused on sleep in autistic individuals. She is part of the Biocultural Lab for the study of Inequality and Social Stress (BLISS) and will pursue her research on sleep in autistic individuals during her PhD set to begin in Fall 2025. Her goal is to improve sleep quality in adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder by using behavioral interventions to improve sleep and overall wellbeing. She is also currently contributing to a project titled Social safety, Agency, and Well-being among Adolescents (SAWA) as part of the BLISS lab. Furthermore, Dominick has also worked as a Research Assistant for Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto where she contributed to a literature review, systematic review, and meta-analysis for a project focusing on mental health in university students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
